Knight Brothers: Thornfalcon Garage
The Knight Brothers Service Station - known as Thornfalcon Garage - is a busy forecourt just off the A303 near Taunton, has recently undertaken an extensive refurbishment as part of its move from ESSO to Jet.
The forecourt also has a busy mini market selling a variety of goods including convenience foods, snacks, drinks, confectionery, off-licence, tobacco products and electronic mobile phone top ups.
As part of the refurbishment, customer service and security has been high on the agenda.
"The addition of HTEC’s Forecourt Protect ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) software ensures we are able to prevent and discourage drive off without payment and have already seen results. But it’s not all about preventing drive off. In addition, we will be able to offer enhanced customer service to our regular clients" says Steve Dyer, the Forecourt Manager.
"For example, we can add the number plates of our Disabled customers to the database which, in turn, will alert the kiosk to go out to offer assistance as they drive on to the forecourt"
Improved CCTV from Premier Securities has also added to the high level of security on the site. Steve is delighted with the refurbishment and additional security. He believes they have already seen a 20% increase in sales.
