Kemble Airport, Gloucestershire

Kemble Airport has an HTEC HydraPOD which accepts both Chip & PIN and Kemble local account cards.

The airfield was founded in 1938 by the RAF and by the end of 1939 had 600 aircraft in service. RAF Kemble became the Head Quarters for co-ordinating the distribution of aircraft all over the country and was responsible for training crews and preparing aircraft for long hazardous flights over occupied territory.

Today it has a number of flying clubs specialising, for example, in running educational programmes for local schools and community groups. They also offer advanced training, flying of vintage jet aircraft, tuition in aerobatics in addition to traditional light aircraft. HydraPOD was the perfect solution for this busy site.
